A story from our past

Posts about our second show in 2023

March 26

Don’t forget, tickets are now on sale for our April 15th show at Quality Inn Conference Center in West Branch. One of our special guests this month will be “Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame Tenderfoot” Tori Schmitt Waldorf. Show starts at 6pm. Hope to see you there.

Keep your eyes opened because you just never know who might show up unexpectedly. This month we have had many artists and groups call us to find out how they can be a part of our shows. If you are in the area keep your eye on the billboard next to the Lumber Jack Restaurant.

Finally a nice warm day today. I worked on my truck half the day outside in the sunshine and then took the boat our for about an hour just to make sure everything is still working great and thankfully it was. This has been a very relaxing day. Hope you all had a good day too.

Sure hope our show brings a really nice crowd this week, Tori is such a great singer and our music selection I think is really nice. Should be good memories, a night to meet and greet others and and something for everyone. And give a way’s for lucky winners.

Always different, always fun. Join us at Forwards Quality Inn and Conference Center in West Branch. Our ticket prices are less than and average meal at McDonalds these days. Please say hello when you arrive. I’m always happy to meet you.

Though 24-7 doesn’t change, the older I get, the faster each day seems to go by. I hope you all get to come out to Forwards Conference Center to see Tori Schmitt Victoria Waldorf sing. She is not only a good person, she is so refreshingly easy to work with. Must have something special to do with her great parents as well. Well, enjoy this great weather we’re having today and I’ll look forward to saying howdy to each of you on Saturday evening. Show starts at 6pm. Hey, it’s cheaper then going out to eat, and a lot more fun.

Howdy everyone. I’m really getting excited. Today is the last for last minute preparations. No matter what you do to get ready it always seems I wish I could do more.

Now that the weather is so nice, this morning I felt like a new spring chicken. What does all this mean?

Chick flix aren’t so bad after all. And make sure you help all the shy chickadees to finally get out of their shell. Then, gather them altogether at Forwards Conference Center in West Branch for a clacking great evening of fun. Let’s not forget all the roosters with a great since of humor that tomorrow you too can be a practical yolker!

Hope to see you all there.

Howdy Folks, I just want to say thank you to everyone who came out to see our show last night. It was really good to talk to you all again. How about that Tori Schmitt Waldorf? Her voice has really matured since I first ask her parents if they would mind if I spoke to her about becoming our first Tenderfoot recipient into the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame. She is a pleasure to work with, and it was so nice to see so many of her family again. As for Sue and I, we had a really fun time. Lenny Hicks and Leon Seiter both inductees in the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame were there Both of them are great Country Music Artists and I’m glad to say I’m their friend. Some of our close relatives drove over two hours just to be with us.

Thanks also goes out to Linda Demske Colangelo and her friend Jim who helped us at the door while Dennis Atnip sat tirelessly at the Video camera and spotlight just to help.

We have met so many kind folks around here who have taken time out of their day just to spend it with Sue and I and we are truly grateful to each of you.

We hope everyone enjoyed watching and listening as much as we enjoyed performing. You all keep in touch or even better stop by the office when you can and say hello. We’ll keep everyone posted on all up coming events.

And again we really want to say thank you to the kind folks at West Branch Quality Inn and Conference Center for all they do to make everyone feel welcome.

‘Till next time…..Thank you so very much.
